BBVA (February 2018 - July 2018)
During my stay at BBVA bank , I was integrated into a development team in charge of building an application with a microservices- oriented architecture . This application consisted of 10 microservices, although in the future, at least two more microservices will be created. The development was a success in terms of functionality and performance.
One of the most important properties of microservices is the possibility of using the programming language and the most optimal production environment for each functionality of the application developed. In this case, my work at the bank focused mainly on the development of two microservices.
The first of the microservices had these features:
- Developed in Java on Spring Framework
- Developed on the Nova Platform (BBVA bank's internal microservices platform)
The second, meanwhile, had the following features:
- Developed in C++ to optimize its performance
- Developed on IBM Symphony Platform
The project is detailed in detail in my
Final Degree Project. A work carried out with the
full consent of the bank with which I obtained a rating of 9.5 out of 10.
